"Child of the West"

o/ - Hi Everyone!

Today I am writing about being a "Child of the West." To me a Child of the West is someone from the west coast of America. The phrase could mean many things, but this is what it means to me. I feel like I am a child of the west because I was born in California. Also who wouldn't want to live by the beach. You get to see this all the time.

I just feel like its a nice view!

What You See and What I Am.

I made a mask that represents myself. On it I put many things that represent me. On the front I colored it in blue. I did that to show that I am normally calm and quiet. Then I put a third eye and some things that look like horns because even though I may be calm I can also be weird and crazy. I also drew a cross to show that I am a christian and I believe in God. Then I wrote C++ (which is a coding program) and a game controller to symbolize that I am tech savvy and that I like games. On the inside of the mask I left it white because my mind is always open and ready to think of new ideas.  I also put a golf ball and club. This is there because even though I may not look like it I really like sports. There is also a book because on my free time i like to read, well sometimes. I also put a music note because I love to play music. Well also because I pretend to play the drums with pens all the time. Finally I put the flag of Italy because I'm partially Italian.

My Story

The Legacy

Hey, so when we all get old we want to be remembered. We all want a story that our great grandchildren will be everyone about. I'm going to talk about the story I want my great grandchildren  to tell everyone. I would want my grandkids to talk about how I was an amazing grandparent and that I would always do whatever to make them happy.

In "The Waxworks" by A. M. Burrage, the protagonist Raymond Hewson is on a quest to make a great article about how he stays the night in the Murder's Den in Marriner's Waxworks. He wants to make this article because he is a free-lancing journalist, who works on space for several papers. He wants to make this article because he is in need of some money and a steady job for only one paper. He tries to stay in the Den but he feels like the wax statues are moving around and trying to kill him. He wants leave but he can't because he needs the money and the story.
I feel like his motivations for staying in the Den were wrong. If he needed the money or a good story then he could have done something he was more comfortable with. He has an overactive imagination and he could have just made up the story rather than putting himself through all the fear of staying in that room. I disapprove of his reasoning to stay in that room, and I were him then I would have left when I felt that uncomfortable and scared.

Revolution

Today I am writing about a revolution that I would want to happen. VIVA LA REVOLUTION! I would want to see change is the advancement of AI (Artificial Intelligence). AI is the future of factory businesses and can be used in many other different situations. They will be a big help to many companies, but as many of you know when there is a major technological breakthrough there is also many dangers. Like in most movies how the robots become sentient and take over the world, but that will never happen. Right?

Well it might happen.
